When I got to Paimboeuf I asked some local fellows the way to the train station. They informed me that the station had been closed but gave me directions. In the meantime I took a walk along the riverfront, enjoying the view across the Loire. I came across an art show dedicated to a local artist named Anne Mandeville. Her daughter, also an artist, walked me around, commenting enthusiastically on her mother's paintings. Suddenly I spotted a picture depicting the "gare de Paimboeuf!"I explained that I had come to her town to get a picture of this very station for my son's blog. I later found my way to the actual station, which the local population is trying to get back in service.
